Last Class of 2015

This was the Last Class of 2015
…so we wanted to play a few games, to chalenge the students and have fun while we trained a little differently.  This was also a class when students who have demonstrated that they have progressed in their training, earn a “stripe” added to their current belt level, prior to being eligible to be formally tested by  a Black Belt Grading Board. It serves as recognition that the student is proficient at a certain level.

Students take a moment of contemplation at the end of class to review their “best” technique, or kata that they felt was done well, to visualize and reinforce their accomplishment.
